What do we believe?
God:
We believe there is one God, the creator of heaven and earth. That there is no other as great or powerful as God and that all things are in His hands.
Jesus Christ:
Is the only begotten Son of God. That Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and rose again the third day. That faith in him and his resurrection will save the soul of a person. That He is the second member of the Holy Trinity.
Holy Spirit:
Is the third member of the Holy Trinity. It is He that calls people unto salvation, that dwells in every believer. He is our guide and strength in life.
The Bible:
Was given by God unto men by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe it to be inerrant, that is without fault or error.
Security of the Soul:
We believe that people who are saved must endure to the end in that Salvation, based on Jesus statement in Matthew 24:13. Hebrews 6, 4-7 makes it plain, that a man can turn away from God.
God’s Simple Plan of Salvation:
The first step of Gods plan is to understand you are a sinner-
Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Sin, in the Bible is disobedience to God. It is failure to live up to God’s expectations.
Because of that failure we face-
Eternal death. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Because of our sin we have earned that eternal death.
But God loves us in spite of our sins-
Romans 5:8 says, “But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” God made a way through Jesus Christ for us, while we were living in sin.
By faith in Jesus Christ-
We can be saved. Romans 10:9-10, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” -Lord have mercy on me a sinner. I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for me and receive Him as my savior.
The Church:
Low Country Free Will Baptist Church is one of more than 3,000 churches nationwide that belong to the National Association of Free Will Baptists, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. It began with 16 members under the leadership of Rev. Phillip Jones, meeting in their homes. They then purchased the present property and built the sanctuary. On August 26, 2001 the church was established as a member of The National Association in good standing.

Free Will Baptists are fundamental in doctrine, that is, they share the historic Christian Faith with all other genuine Christians. They are, as the name indicates, Baptist in doctrine, teaching immersion baptism. Free Will Baptists are free will in doctrine. Some Christian groups believe God predetermined who would be saved and lost, that Jesus died only for certain “elect” individuals, and the rest have no opportunity to be saved.
In contrast, Free Will Baptists believe God desires salvation for all and sent Jesus to die for everyone. Still, He has given man the freedom of choice to accept or reject the blood redemption of Christ’s sacrifice. Those who believe and accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savoir, ask for forgiveness and accept Him into their hearts will be saved.
